Candidates with any trading experience should contact us to discuss their situation.

3. What will my responsibilities be as a trader for Chimera Capital?
Your only duty will be to trade.

4. If Chimera Capital hires me, will I have clients?
No. Employees trade the firm's capital. You will make your own decisions and your own trades.

6. What is the difference between being a trader at Chimera and trading for an investment bank or brokerage?
Trading at Chimera never means clerking or acting as someone else's assistant. Almost immediately, new employees are allocated capital and start learning to trade...by trading. Trading is Chimera's only business.

7. What do Chimera's employees trade?
We are an equity-trading firm that specializes in NYSE and Nasdaq stocks. We also provide access to the AMEX.

8. What happens if I lose money?
Chimera's employees are never responsible for trading losses.

9. What hours do Chimera's employees work?
New traders work from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Typically, experienced employees work from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

10. Do I need to have my own money to trade with?
No. Chimera employees trade the firm's capital. Chimera traders never risk any of their own money.

11. Does Chimera offer a benefits package to their employees?
Yes. There is an optional medical plan, dental plan and a 401K investment plan available to all employees of Chimera Capital after a short waiting period.
